On July 1, 1973 a young by the name of Carroll Frank, age of 23, decided to get involved with the fire Department as a volunteer firefighter.  On July 1, 1990 he applied and was accepted as a career firefighter/mechanic with the Fire District and will continue that service until June 30, 2014.  After 41 years filling the role of volunteer Firefighter and 24 years as a Career firefighter/mechanic, I think we all recognize him and know him best as our friend!  On June 30, 2014 we will celebrate Carroll’s last day with refreshments at the district shop in Zillah between 11:00 and 3:00. Stop by and share some old stories and help us wish Carroll a happy retirement. We greatly appreciate Carroll's years of dedicated service to the fire district and our community!

Congratulations Ken Shipman on your promotion to the rank of Deputy Chief effective January 1, 2017!
